CM11 KitKat on SDCard for Nook Table

Preparation:

Truoc tien download file img phien ban KitKat cho SD Card, o day ta co file cm_acclaim_11.0_14JAN2014_HD_SDC_IMG.img (OS nay khong co google app)

Sau do download them 1 so file sau day:

flash_format_data1_sdcard_acclaim.zip

flashable_expand_bootable_sdcard_acclaim.zip

gapps-kk-20131208-no_set_metadata_sdc.zip

(Thuc te trong file .img, da co san 2 file flash_format_data1_sdcard_acclaim.zip & flashable_expand_bootable_sdcard_acclaim.zip)

                    Chuan bi file xong, ta bat dau thuc hien:

Step1:  Format your SDCard with SD Formatter. (gan SDCard vao PC)

Step2:  Burned or dd the image (*.img) to your 1.84GB or larger SDCard.

                

On Windows: 

• Install Win32-image-writer and run it.
• Navigate to the directory of image, here using cm_acclaim_11.0_14JAN2014_HD_SDC_IMG.img
• Choose the letter that corresponds to your SDCard
• Write the image to SDCard

Step 3:

*  Plug SDCard into Nook Tablet

*  Hold the power button for a couple of seconds to turn on device.

*  Boot into Cyanoboot’s ‘Boot Menu’ by holding the home key.

*  Choose SDC Recovery

*  Install flashable_expand_bootable_sdcard_acclaim.zip. (Located in /storage/sdcard1 or /external_sd or /sdcard)

*  (This will prepare your SDCard Data1 partition for expansion)

*  Reboot your device into “SDC Recovery”. (This reboot is required)

Step 4:

*  Install flash_format_data1_sdcard_acclaim.zip. (Located in /storage/sdcard1 or /external_sd or /sdcard)

*  (Do this to complete the expansion & format of the SDCard Data1 partition)

*  Reboot your device and let it boot into cm-11.0. (This will take a couple of minutes)

Step 5:

*  Sau khi boot vao OS CM-11.0, plug USB cable Nook into PC.

*  Ta se thay xuat hien o dia Internal Storage tren PC, chep file goole app (file .zip) vao o dia Internal Storage do’.

Step 6:

*   Reboot your device into “SDC Recovery”.

*  Install the GAPPS file (*.zip). (Located in /sdcard)

*  (It is important that you boot into cm-11.0 before installing GAPPS in recovery to avoid possible “unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped” errors.)

*  Installation is complete.

Notes:

Go Setting\SD Card, if NO SDCard insert. We need partition the SDCard partition (FAT31, primary) using MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition on PC.
